When people think fairy tale they think about 2 things: 1) a princess and her prince and 2) the clothing. This is all true, but what they should also think about is the way the right dress feels (emotions and all) when you put it on. Because, the truth of the matter is that, in a way that's the most important thing about a fairy tale. The emotions the characters portray, when/how they do it.

Imagine how a bride feels putting that dress on for the first time. The anxious feeling in her head as she worries if it will fit, then she puts it on. That rush of excitement as she smoothed out the fabric of the dresses corset. Everyone in the room claps with excitement. This is the fairy tale feeling!
